Twenty-first century kids have to contend with growing up in a crazy paced world with the stresses of busy parents and home life, coupled with raging hormones and in-your-face media and advertising. Drawing on the techniques of yoga can empower children with tools to handle stress, moods and anxieties and can provide time to cultivate self-awareness, confidence and calm amid the "moving sea of chaos".

10 class pass $180 (*Valid for 10 weeks from date of issue)
6 Week Courses $120 (6 week course, once a week)

Please note: Class passes are for 10 week periods only. They are not transferable and non-refundable. Missed classes in workshops may be made up during the course block, space permitting. Please speak to your teacher or contact the studio.

The studio does not have EFTPOS or Credit Card facilities. Please pay by cash,  PayPal via the YogaShop on the website, or direct debit.

Payments for all Courses and Workshops are up-front, non-refundable and non transferable.

CLASS DESCRIPTIONS

BEG - Beginners Basics
Ideal for Beginners and all levels

Welcome to the ancient and modern evolving tradition of hatha yoga! This weekly introduction to the practice is a light hearted hour of movement, review and basic principals dedicated to getting you into the flow of the classes at YogaSam. Suitable intro for all styles.

We recommend attending the Beginners course for those who are new to yoga.

RES - Restorative Yoga
A class suitable for beginners and those who prefer a less physically demanding class.

GEN - General Class
An open class for all, some yoga experience is beneficial but not necessary. Sometiems we practice a dynamic sequences of postures linked with powerful breath that builds core & upper body strength, leaving you energized and vibrant. Sometimes we'lll work deep and slow to connect you deeper inwards...either way this class is dedicated to unlocking the full energetic potential of asana's.

INT - Intermediate Yoga
Some previous yoga experience is necessary - these classes are not recommended for beginners. Please contact the studio to determine if this class is suitable for you. Some Intermediate classes are only available if you have attended a program.

If you are pregnant, have an injury or any pre-existing health condition that requires special attention, please be certain that you have the permission of your doctor or health care professional before starting classes. Please also advise the Yoga instructor before commencement of the class.

YIN - Sunday Afternoons
An artful balance of movement and stillness, this practice begins slow, deliberate focus on lengthening the body's deep connective tissue. Postures are held for several minutes to encourage release. Teachers may include chanting to aid in stilling the mind and cultivating balance and equanimity.

PreNatal
Regardless of experience come nourish yourself & feel inspired through a community of pregnant women. Stretch, strengthen, relax & focus on breath. Please call for session dates. These classes are pro-rated for earlier due dates.

1:1 Privates
For missed appointments and less than 24 hours notice cancellation, 50% fee will be applicable. Thank you for your co-operation.
